The impacts of climate change are already being felt in Hammersmith & Fulham. They include increasingly severe and frequent flooding, heatwaves, drought and other changes to nature.
These changes can affect our health, homes, businesses, and local services.
To help, the council is taking steps to reduce the borough’s risks from severe weather as our climate changes, including implementing sustainable urban drainage schemes and green roofs, and identifying cool spaces for people to shelter from heatwaves.
