Overview

The Barclay Close Estate (SW6) is situated between Fulham Road and Pulton Place. The site on the Barclay Close Estate is currently an underused area of land and provides an opportunity for the delivery of high-quality new homes in the borough.

Experienced architects PRP have been appointed to deliver a highly sustainable development.

As the developer of this project, Hammersmith & Fulham Council will retain the ownership of the site and will manage all affordable homes, along with the maintenance of communal and external areas.

New homes

At least 50% of the new homes will be affordable (including social rented and shared ownership homes) and the buildings will be designed to the latest sustainability standards.

Current position

Thank you to everyone who was able to join either of the recent drop-in sessions where we were able to show the initial designs for this development.

Next Steps

Winter 2024: Third round of consultation: detailed designs showing how feedback has helped shape them.

Early 2025: Target date to submit a planning application.

Mid 2025: Planning Committee (target date).

Early 2026: Construction starts (target date, subject to planning approval).
