Cathnor Park Play Transformation Programme
As part of our work to make Hammersmith & Fulham a stronger, safer and kinder borough we recently consulted you on proposed improvements to Cathnor Park's play areas.
We had 61 responses and want to, thank you for participating. This consultation is now closed and the summary report has been written.
The results of the consultation have shown that there is significant support amongst respondents for the proposed upgrade to the play area as part of the playground transformation programme (2025-28) and our next steps are as follows:
Create a project specification based on the feedback and positive land survey results and go out to tender. If the land is unsuitable then a revised project specification within the existing playground footprint will be developed and the existing over 8s play area will be retained but with newer equipment and fencing.
We will report Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) and maintenance issues to the LET and Grounds Maintenance contractor as well as request the lighting time to review the lighting levels.
We are now aiming to complete the improvements to the park in Autumn 2026.
