As part of our work to make Hammersmith & Fulham a stronger, safer and kinder borough we are working to improve Cathnor Park's play areas.
Cathnor Park is a green flag awarded smaller park found between Goldhawk Road and Uxbridge Road. This park has an over eights and accessible under eights play area to enjoy.
The play area currently includes:
Swings for both under and over eights
A multi-play under eights climbing frame
A multi-play over eights wooden climbing frame
An under eights music climbing frame with rope climb
A wooden balance beam
A carousel supernova
A clock play panel
Some of these play features are coming to the end of their practical life and we would like to upgrade this play area with new equipment and surface improvements as part of our Play Transformation Programme 2025-28.
What are we currently proposing?
To develop the multi-play frame area into a green open space for more natural play.
Extending the existing play area onto the nearby greenspace to allow for additional play.
Introducing more play into the play area suitable for both over eights and under eights.
Improve accessibility for all.
The below map shows these areas.
We want to know what you think of the current play area and what we can do to improve it. The survey will be open until 5pm on 10 April 2026.

If you need support to complete the survey or would like the information in a different language or format, please contact parks.projects@lbhf.gov.uk
