Tenancy policy

This policy explains the type of tenancies we issue, in which circumstances they are issued and how tenancies are ended. We’ve developed this new policy based on the Tenancy Strategy for the borough. The policy doesn’t include any proposed changes to current operational practice.

Supporting our residents policy

This policy explains how housing services identify, record and respond to tenants’ support needs. It is intended to help us continue improving our services. It responds to feedback from tenants, best practice and national regulations and guidance.

Aids and adaptations policy

This policy outlines how we will respond to requests for property adaptations to the homes of Council housing tenants and tenants living in temporary accommodation we own and manage.

It sets out how we will consistently respond to requests for aids and adaptations. It responds to feedback from tenants as well as best practice, guidance and regulations which apply to both housing and social care.

Repairs policy

This policy provides an overview of our policy on reactive repairs and maintenance carried out on properties we own or manage. It explains what reactive repairs we provide, under what circumstances they are provided and the timeframe for completing work.

It explains our improved repairs service which responds to feedback from residents and the latest regulation, guidance and best practice.

  • Monday 16 September - any time between 5.30pm and 9pm
