New rain gardens on Lysia Street
Help green Lysia Street and better manage the risk of surface water flooding in the area – tell us your views about plans to build new rain gardens along the road.
This involves removing a small section of the road to create a planted, ‘permeable’ beds to help collect rainwater that falls on the road and allow it to soak into the ground naturally rather than overwhelm the sewer system.
As part of the proposed changes, one parking bay would be transformed into designated cargo cycle bay.
The below maps provides visual representations of the proposed site and design.
