Normand Park is a large park in the centre of the borough, a short walk from both West Kensington and West Brompton tube stations. The park is well used and houses an outdoor gym, recreational space, a quiet garden and a large playground, which includes skate ramps and a sports pitch.
Many of the play features in Normand Park are coming to the end of their practical life and need replacing. As part of our Playground Transformation Programme 2025-28, we are looking to invest in the play provision of Normand Park and are seeking feedback from residents and park users.
The play area currently includes:
Climbing walls
A recreation area for skating, basketball, table tennis and football
Play areas for both over eights and children under eight.
We want to know what you think of the current play area and what we can do to improve it. In this first survey we want hear how residents think we can improve the play area.
The survey will be open until 5pm on 9 March 2026.
Once we have collected these results we will publish a second survey designed to help us narrow down residents’ ideas into a works programme. Details of the works programme will be on the consultation hub.

If you need support to complete the survey or would like the information in a different language or format, please contact parks.projects@lbhf.gov.uk
It is estimated that the play improvements will be completed in summer 2026.
