Zone L consultation for residents and businesses

Time to have your say!

Your place

Zone L is a mainly residential area which sits within the Brackenbury Village and features a number of popular pubs, schools, churches, businesses and independent shops.

It is bordered to the west by award-winning Ravenscourt Park which holds a prestigious Green Flag. Ravenscourt Park tube station, which is convenient for commuting into Central London, is to the south. Goldhawk Road marks the northern boundary.

Parking controls operate between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. There are no maximum stay restrictions.

Non-resident shoppers and commuters can currently pay to park for up to eight hours Monday to Friday and free in evenings and at weekends.

Overview

Residents in Zone L have been asking for changes to the current parking restrictions because of significant, increased pressure on spaces for residents and guests. Issues raised include:

  • Displacement from Zone A, around the busy King Street town centre shopping area, where parking controls have recently been extended to seven days a week until 11pm.
  • Rental van and car hire companies taking up spaces at weekends in the south of the zone.
  • New extended controls in three streets – Weltje Road, Rivercourt Road and Cromwell Avenue – in Zone M near Ravenscourt Park tube station, which could lead to additional displacement into Zone L.

Have your say

We are now consulting with residents and businesses in your zone. This is your chance to protect car parking spaces for local people.

You can choose whether to:

  • Keep the parking controls as they are, OR
  • Extend controls from 8:30am until 10:00pm or 11:00pm (in line with King Street area, Brook Green and Olympia), seven days a week, with a two hour maximum stay.

Please note: the two-hour maximum stay will not apply to visitors booked in by local residents and businesses using RingGo.

If the consultation supports extending the parking control hours, we will offer FREE parking for residents’ visitors after 5pm on weekdays and all weekend.

We invite you to complete the short questionnaire which will help us to understand if any changes are required to improve parking on your street.

Thanks.
H&F Parking Services Team

This consultation will end at 5pm on Friday 18 September 2026.
