Thank you to all who took the time to respond. A summary report has now been uploaded to this page.

The next steps are to:
  • We will share the report with the Cabinet Member for Public Realm and Ward Councillors.
  • Create a project specification based on the feedback results and go out to tender. If the land is unsuitable then a revised project specification within the existing playground footprint will be developed and the existing over 8s play area will be retained but with newer equipment and fencing.
  • We will report ASB and maintenance issues to the LET and Grounds Maintenance contractor as well as request the lighting time to review the lighting levels.

We will update further once the tender exercise has been completed.

Estimated completion date: Early Autumn 2026
