The third sector includes charities, community groups and social enterprises that are not for profit. Our borough has a vibrant array of these groups which support local residents. Many were instrumental in the community response to the Covid-19 pandemic and more recently the cost-of-living crisis. In recent years, the council has invested over £3.3m annually into the third sector to provide advice, help and support to residents.

As set out in our new Corporate Plan, we are determined to help maintain a strong and capable third sector that can support our changing communities. We want to build stronger, active, and more connected communities. To do this, we need your help.

This survey asks residents for their views on how we can best achieve this. As part of our ongoing commitment to co-production, in which we do things with residents, not to them, we want to know about your experiences of the third sector and what our priorities should be. Please share your feedback for a chance to win a £50 Love2Shop gift card.

An easy read version of the survey will be available soon.

This survey will close on 16 June 2024.
