We’re making our local streets feel safer for everyone by making street harassment an offence.
New borough-wide restrictions now prohibit unwanted verbal or physical attention in Hammersmith & Fulham that's likely to make people feel harassed or unsafe, including but not limited to:
Sexualised comments, propositions or gesture
Persistent questioning
Following someone
Sexist, homophobic, or transphobic slurs
Flashing or exposing intimate body parts
Non-consensual physical contact
Whistling or catcalling.
Report it
Residents can help make H&F safer by reporting areas where they feel unsafe or have witnessed harassment.
Use the map below to mark areas of concern. We log and review every entry carefully to help improve safety. The map refreshes regularly to stay up-to-date.
To arrange to meet with our Law Enforcement Team Officers and show them specific locations of concern, call 020 8753 1100 and select option 3, or email report-harassment@lbhf.gov.uk. This local knowledge will help officers target their patrols more effectively.
If you wish to report a specific incident, please email our Law Enforcement Team onlet.hf@lbhf.gov.uk for help and support.
Help is at hand
If you have been a victim of street harassment, please visit our women's safety webpage for support. Our specialist service providers will be able to review your case and provide tailored, confidential support.
In an emergency, always call 999.
