Cross-pavement electric vehicle charging – trial suitability questionnaire

Thank you for expressing an interest in the council's proposed Electric Vehicle Cross-Pavement Charging Trial.

The council is exploring whether a limited number of locations could be included in a trial of cross-pavement charging channels. These channels allow residents to run a charging cable from their home to an electric vehicle parked on the street outside while helping to reduce potential trip hazards.

This questionnaire forms part of an initial suitability assessment. It will help us understand potential demand and assess whether your property, parking arrangements and charging requirements may be suitable for inclusion in the proposed trial.

If the information provided suggests that your property may meet the initial suitability requirements, we will contact you once the trial criteria have been finalised and the next stage of the assessment process is ready to begin.

Further technical, safety and location assessments will be required before any properties can be confirmed for the trial. The trial is also expected to be limited to a maximum of 20 locations.

Thank you for your interest and patience as we continue to develop the EV Cross-Pavement Charging Trial.

Completing this survey does not guarantee participation. It is an initial screening stage only.
If you have any questions or concerns related to the scheme, feel free to contact us at chargepoints@lbhf.gov.uk
