Update: This consultation is now closed and the Council is currently reviewing all the feedback received.
Working with Addison Primary School, we want to bring a new rain garden to Addison Gardens.
It will improve drainage to help us better manage surface water flooding by collecting rainwater that falls on the road and allow it to soak into the ground naturally rather than go into the sewer system.
Meanwhile new trees, greenery and flowers will help beautify the area and boost biodiversity to benefit people and nature.

Where will the rain garden go?
The rain garden will go outside Addison Primiary School on Addison Gardens. The rain garden will be in the road and will not impact on the footway space outside the school and there will be no loss of parking on Addison Gardens from the installation of the rain garden.
