Hammersmith and Fulham

Hammersmith and Fulham is an inner London borough in a strategic location on the transport routes between the City and Heathrow. It is an area of contrasts, of wealth and deprivation, and of attractive environments, many of which are protected by conservation designations and other areas that are less attractive and that need improvement. It is important that the strategy for the future development of Hammersmith and Fulham is based on an understanding of the area as it is now, the challenges that need to be addressed and the opportunities that exist.
