Parking consultation - Zone NN
Zone NN parking changes consultation
Time to have your say!
Your place
Controlled parking Zone NN is a small residential area bordered by Wood Lane to the west and Notting Hill to the east.
It neighbours Imperial College London’s White City Campus and the White City Innovation District. It is close to White City Tube Station, Westfield shopping centre, Hammersmith Hospital, Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital and HM Prison Wormwood Scrubs.
It is within easy walking distance of Queen’s Park Rangers’ MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium.
Current parking controls operate between 9am - 5pm Monday to Saturday. Non-residents can currently pay to park for up to eight hours Monday to Saturday and free at all other times
Overview
Residents have told us it is becoming more difficult to find parking spaces in evenings and at weekends because of visitors, particularly during QPR matches. The council’s parking stress data confirms this view.
Reasons for the increase in visitor parking by non-residents, shoppers and commuters may also include tighter parking controls in Kensington and Chelsea, the expansion of Imperial College’s White City footprint and more demand on the hospitals. The Notting Hill Carnival is a significant issue raised by residents.
Have your say
We are now consulting with residents in your zone. This is your opportunity to protect your streets for years to come and prioritise parking for you and your visitors.
You can choose whether to keep the parking controls as they are OR to extend controls from 8.30am until 10pm, seven days a week.
We invite you to complete the short questionnaire which will help us to understand if any changes are required to improve parking on your street.
Thanks.
H&F Parking Services Team
The consultation will end on Friday 6 June 2025.
